We’re proud to share some meaningful moments from Operation Streamline WNC, where local, independent pharmacies across North Carolina joined forces with caring physicians to provide life-saving medications to survivors of Hurricane Helene in Western NC. Thanks to the generosity of our local pharmacies, essential medications reached those in need, underscoring our role as a lifeline in North Carolina communities.
Our efforts highlight the importance of House Bill H246. This bill is designed to protect patient access to independent pharmacies and prevent Pharmacy Benefit Managers (PBMs) from practices that restrict your choices and drive up costs. If you support H246, thank you! Your advocacy helps ensure that local pharmacies can continue providing critical care, especially in times of crisis. For those still on the fence, ask yourself this: How much have PBMs contributed in disaster relief? The answer is zero.
